In 2017, I was honoured to be included in DePauw University’s Young Philosophers Lecture Series, hosted at the Prindle Institute for Ethics. One feature of the Series is that philosophers prepare an introductory talk for an audience with no academic background in philosophy – this was a wonderful challenge! My talk, “Birth, Death, and the Inbetween” can be seen here. I’m not young anymore, but still very interested in how philosophy illuminates the challenges (and opportunities) of living a good life.
